Geely introduced a refreshed Panda Mini on 7 September 2026 under the Karting Edition designation, responding to weakened demand in China's compact electric vehicle segment. Sales from January through July 2026 totalled 23,377 units, representing a 77% year-over-year decline for the model line.
The primary update centres on a new 17.2 kWh CATL LFP battery, replacing the earlier Gotion unit. This battery delivers 210 km range under CLTC measurement, equivalent to approximately 172 km under WLTP criteria. DC fast charging at 22 kW recharges the pack from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes, with the manufacturer reporting passage of 76 safety tests.
The three-door hatchback measures 3,150 mm in length and features styling enhancements including a front lip and roof-mounted rear wing—elements primarily cosmetic given the vehicle's 100 km/h maximum speed. The Karting Edition offers five exterior colours and two interior colour schemes. Standard equipment encompasses a 9.2-inch LCD instrument display, 8-inch touchscreen, rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, and dual frontal airbags. Boot capacity measures 69 litres across a 2,015 mm wheelbase.
A single rear-mounted electric motor produces 30 kW (40 horsepower). The standard retail price is 49,900 yuan (7,435 USD), though a limited-time promotional offer reduces this to 43,900 yuan (6,540 USD).
