Heat Index
How much range does the heat cost?
Kuwait summers touch 50C air — and asphalt hits ~70C. Heat + AC + speed can cut an EV's real range by 10–25% (more at peak). Drag the slider to estimate it for your car.

Rough planning estimate — real loss depends on the car, speed and battery age. Always keep a safety buffer.
Gulf-heat playbook 🌡️
Precondition the cabin and battery while still plugged in — you spend grid power, not range.
Above 40C, park in shade or covered lots, and charge at night when it's cooler and the pack runs colder.
Avoid DC fast-charging a hot pack right after a long highway run — it'll throttle and stress the battery.
Use seat cooling instead of blasting the whole cabin, and keep AC on Eco/Auto rather than Max when you can.
Smooth driving and holding 100–110 km/h on the highway cuts loss more than any AC setting.
