Gulf Summer Challenge · Summer 2026

How far does your EV really go at 50°C?

Catalog ranges are tested in Europe and China — our summer is another animal. We're building the world's first open dataset of real EV range in Gulf heat: owner numbers, on the asphalt, at high noon. Every test enters the record with its owner's name.

How to join — three steps

1

Charge to 100% and reset the trip meter

At home or the nearest station — note the ambient temp.

2

Drive your normal day in the heat

AC on, real driving — not a hypermiling run. Honesty is the challenge.

3

Log the number in The Field

Range driven + temperature + a dash photo. Two minutes and you're on the board.

The only rule: honesty. A dash photo strengthens your number — outliers are reviewed before they count on the board.

Dare your friends — whose EV survives best?
