Audi Reveals A2 e-tron Entry-Level EV Exceeding 400 Miles of Range

Audi unveiled the A2 e-tron on September 7, 2026, positioning it as an entry-level electric vehicle for buyers seeking an affordable option from the luxury brand. The compact model achieves a drag coefficient of just 0.24, resulting in energy consumption of 12.8 kWh per 100 km, making it the most efficient series-production Audi ever built.
The A2 e-tron is available in four power outputs: 125 kW, 140 kW, 170 kW, and 240 kW, paired with three battery options: 52, 61, or 84 kWh. The largest battery supports DC fast-charging speeds up to 183 kW, charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 29 minutes.
Measuring 4.32 meters in length and 1.79 meters in width, the A2 e-tron competes with models including the Kia EV3 and Volkswagen ID.3 Neo. Standard features encompass multiple driver-assistance systems and bidirectional charging capability through Vehicle-to-Load technology, with Vehicle-to-Home support available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Pricing begins at €38,200 for the base 125 kW variant with 52 kWh battery, while the top-tier 240 kW model starts at €51,200. Order books open September 10, 2026, with customer deliveries expected to commence in December 2026. Production occurs at Audi's Ingolstadt facility in Germany.
